[2024-08-16 21:12:53] cs2000 : Ive spent the better part of a decade in this hobby, mostly running £200-£400 machines, mainly because (like all of us) i liked tinkering, but honestly, 12 months ago i also ditched the entire lot and went for an X1C because i use my printer to make money and couldn't be bothered with the issues. That said, I understand @jcase's point of view. Bambu lab was started by ex DJI employees, their business tactics and some of the code their machines use bear resemblance to DJI. Less so than i personally expected, but its still there. I fully expect all my print files are on some chinese server, but thats the price for the ease of use, speed and print quality i guess. Either way, if you need any help @jcase, hit me up, im pretty decent with 3d modeling non-organic things (functional things is what got me into 3d printing) and printers in general, but knowing you, you;re on another level :joy:
